Joanna Thornewill Hay
Joanna Thornewill Hay
Island violinist Joanna Thornewill Hay, began Suzuki violin at age 6 and studied with David Updegraff. Accompanying her career as a producer and documentarian, she plays classical violin for weddings and private events, and is well known on-island as the violinist in the band Coq Au Vin. She is on faculty at the Nantucket Community Music Center.
